Hotel des Ducs

Rooms were immaculately clean with beds of pristine white sheets. Whole hotel was beautifully clean. Hotel was easy to get to on our way back from the very South of France. We were delayed in traffic incidents for hours, but the hotel were amazing when we couldn't get there by 9pm, so made arrangements for us to collect our room keys and as we had been on the road for 14 hours I can't thank them enough. I would recommend this hotel to everyone . We travel to France a couple of times a year and now this will be my first choice stop over hotel.

Location is good for us near the motorway . Supermarket opposite for petrol & near very good restaurants. Pleased to see a tray in the room this time - always ready for a cup of tea! Also free, secure parking- always a plus when we don’t want to take all the luggage into the room.

Friendly management, everything clean and fresh, comfy bed in a nice room that looked newly decorated, very quiet at night, nice breakfast and secure free parking. The location opposite the station was surprisingly quiet and we felt quite safe both there and in Alençon centre. We would definitely stay here again.

Really friendly host Sebastian welcomed us and let us in early, we got a few beers and chatted with him til our room was ready. He was friendly to us and made a fuss of our little dog much to his delight. The room was spotless and smelled beautiful, the bed comfy which was welcome after 12 hours driving. In the morning breakfast smelled incredible but we had to leave early. It’s a short walk into the centre of town (10 Mins ish) and well worth the stroll.

This hotel is well situated, our ground floor room was a good size, high ceilings and beautiful large windows. Very clean and well presented. The bed was very comfortable and the shower very good. The outdoor space and garden is a little haven. We liked the secure parking. The staff were helpful and approachable. We would definitely choose this hotel again.
